Sick Baby
As most of you know, having a sick baby is terrible. First of all they can't tell you what is wrong, so most of the time you have no clue why they are acting weird. And second, they don't sleep. I have been in a sleep-deprived haze for the past three days. Sadie woke up from her nap on Saturday with a fever and has had it ever since. On Saturday, Sunday, and Monday nights she gave us such a hard time. She did not want to sleep....she just wanted to walk around but she was so tired that she would keep falling and then cry. I think we only got about 4 hours of sleep each of those nights. I took her in to the doctor on Monday and was told that her throat look a little red but other than that she looked fine, (which is comforting but a little frustrating). On Tuesday her nose started running more and she became very congested. She gave us some trouble at bedtime again, waking up off and on for quite awhile. And when I went in there to rock her, she wanted to play games. It was really hard to keep from smiling at her....she would drop her pacifier on the floor and then look up and say "uh-oh" in that cute little voice and when I stopped picking it back up she decided to grab my nose and say 'beep." And then she would do the sign for more and say "da da" so I called Matt in to rock with her (she asked didn't she?). But the good news is that once we finally got her to sleep last night, she slept through the night!!!! Matt and I really needed the sleep. I think that maybe the worst is over because she is actually able to sleep now but she still had a fever this morning. I'm just praying that the rest of us don't get this.

I'm so sorry! That is no fun....I will be praying for a full recovery for Sadie and that no one else gets sick! Rest up and sleep WHENEVER you can!
That Stinks! we have kind of had the same thing overhere with Owen. He is antibiotics now they thought he was coming down with Pnemonia (Sp?) or a sinus infection. Hope she is fully recovered soon!
